What You’re Reserving
When you reserve a date, you are reserving:
- A specific hunt window
- A specific site/blind
- Our commitment that the property is set aside for your group for that window
Your reservation blocks that date from other hunters, which is why the reservation fee is **non-refundable and non-transferable**.
Hunt Window (Start & End Times)
Our standard hunt window is:
- 2:00 PM check-in / start day 1 – 2:00 PM pack-out / end day 2
- This timing is intentional. Exotics in this urban-country environment are often most active during low-light hours. This schedule gives you the overnight window when activity can be best.
- Do not arrive before 2:00 PM.
- You must be packed out by 2:00 PM unless your group has consecutive days reserved.
Sites & Weapon Rules
We operate multiple sites. The primary options are:
Rifle Site (example: “Race Track” site)
- Rifle-eligible site
- Can handle up to 8 hunters (by reservation and scheduling)
- Caliber restrictions: none. Bring what you shoot best—especially for low-light conditions—and follow all safety rules.
Bow Site (example: “Pecan Orchard” site)
- Bow only
- Can handle up to 2 hunters
- If you don’t like the provided setup, bring a pop-up blind you can manage safely
Bag Limit Policy
- Flat-Fee “Any 3” hunt is per paying hunter.
- Each paying hunter may harvest up to three legal animals during their hunt.
- Bag limits cannot be split or shared between hunters.
- Native animals must be taken in strict adherence to Texas law.
Guests / Extra People
No non-paying guests. No exceptions.
- If you change the rules, the rules have been changed—and we don’t do that.
- Handicap exception: If you require a helper due to a disability, we may allow one helper, but the harvest is limited to one animal for that hunt window. This must be arranged and approved in advance.
Lodging & Nearby Services
We do not offer camping onsite.
Lodging is nearby. A common local option is Executive Inn (near Comfort, TX) — close to some sites. If you mention our name, rates are often around $80/night (subject to change).
There are also additional local lodging options coming online over time. Ask by text when you book.
Field Dressing / Clean-Up / Pack-Out
- We no longer allow cleaning and dumping onsite.
- Clean on the back of your truck
- Bring heavy-duty trash bagsPack out everything you bring in
- Do not leave gut piles or unusable parts onsite
Leaving a mess can cancel re-hunt eligibility for everyone in your group.
What to Bring
- Valid hunting license (as required by TPWD)
- Transportation
- Your own chair (if needed)
- Red light / low-light gear
- Coolers
- Knives
- Trash bags for clean-up and pack-out
Refunds, Cancellations, and Re-Hunts
Refund Policy
**No refunds.** Reservation fees are **non-refundable and non-transferable.** Last-minute cancellations lose the deposit.
Walk-Through Waiver Option
Before the hunt starts, you’ll do the walk-through and review the rules. If there is something you do not agree with, do not sign the waiver and do not start the hunt. Once you sign the waiver and begin, the hunt is active under the rules.
Re-Hunt Policy (Summary)
Re-hunts are a privilege, not a purchase. If a hunter is skunked and follows the rules with a good attitude, they may qualify for a re-hunt under the waiver terms.
Key points:
- Re-hunts are **at our discretion** and based on availability
- A deposit is required to reserve a re-hunt date (details provided by text)
- Re-hunts cannot be scheduled as group/shared “flashback” re-hunts
- Re-hunts are typically not scheduled on weekends/prime time
- All re-hunts expire September 15 of that year
Full conditions are detailed in the waiver.
Waiver (What It Is)
A waiver is a legally binding contract between hunter and outfitter that must be signed before you are allowed to hunt. It includes standard items such as hold-harmless agreements, injury waivers, property rules, and conduct requirements.
